HB 1403 - DIGEST

     Declares that, in addition to any other dispositional term or condition that may be imposed on a juvenile found to have committed an offense, the court may enter any or all of the following orders, which may be enforced by the contempt power of the court:  (1) That the parents take charge of and exercise control over the juvenile;

     (2) that the juvenile submit to the parents and obey all their lawful orders and directions; and

     (3) that the juvenile remain continuously in the presence of the juvenile's parent for a period of time and under circumstances that the court considers reasonable.

     Declares that the term "in the presence of" means within range of sight or hearing, or such other limitations as the court considers reasonable.
