HB 1653 - DIGEST

     Provides that surplus moneys held in trust by a tow truck operator for more than one year from the date of the auction must be paid to the tow truck operator in order to offset those instances in which the proceeds from the auction are insufficient to cover the costs of removing, storing, and disposing of other abandoned vehicles.
