HB 1983 - DIGEST
Declares that employers are not required to furnish or compensate employees for apparel that an employer requires an employee to wear during working hours unless the required apparel is a uniform.
Provides that an employer is not required to furnish or compensate employees for apparel that is required by the employer to be worn as a reasonable means of enhancing work place safety unless the employer is required to furnish or compensate employees for such apparel under chapter 49.17 RCW.
