HB 2438 - DIGEST

     Directs the department of transportation to adopt rules for bicycle racing, after consultation with the Washington bicycle advisory committee, the Washington state patrol, and the Washington traffic safety commission.

     Provides that the rules may require the organizer of a race to receive a permit, issued by the appropriate district administrator of the department of transportation at least sixty days before an event.
