HB 2457 - DIGEST

     Requires the development of standards for the efficient and economical replacement of all categories of passenger motor vehicles used by state agencies and provide those standards to state agencies and the office of financial management, which standards, notwithstanding RCW 43.19.1919 and 43.19.1920, must include the requirements that:  (1) All surplus passenger motor vehicles be sold;

     (2) the sale be at public auction; and

     (3) any necessary reconditioning, transportation, or delivery of these passenger motor vehicles may not be done by public employees and must be done by contract.
