HB 2729 - DIGEST

     Provides that, under any rules adopted by the secretary of social and health services or the secretary of corrections under RCW 72.72.040, Rainier State School, located in the city of Buckley in Pierce county, must be included in the list of institutions and political subdivisions that are eligible for reimbursement.

     Declares that, for the purposes of reimbursement under chapter 72.72 RCW, the city of Buckley in Pierce county must be reimbursed for criminal justice costs occasioned by the criminal behavior of both the residents and the employees of Rainier State School, located in the city of Buckley.
