HB 2814 - DIGEST

     Finds that some students need additional help to have the opportunity to meet the learning standards established to meet the goals of basic education under RCW 28A.150.210.  The legislature finds that alternative or additional instructional opportunities should be provided to these students.

     Makes an appropriation of twenty-five million dollars to the superintendent of public instruction for the purposes of this act.  Funds shall be allocated based upon the number of students in each district choosing to participate in the program.
