HB 2943 - DIGEST

 

     Provides that a person is guilty of invading the privacy of a criminal justice worker if the person, without the criminal justice worker's permission, publicizes personal information about:  (1) An active or former criminal justice worker with whom the person has had contact within the scope of the criminal justice worker's employment; or

     (2) the spouse or child of such a criminal justice worker.

     Declares that invading the privacy of a criminal justice worker is a gross misdemeanor.
