SB 5012-S - DIGEST

     Revises the requirements for the filing of corporate documents by insurance companies, health care service contractors, and health maintenance organizations.

     Allows the filings to be made to the insurance commissioner only, not to both the commissioner and the secretary of state.

     Requires the commissioner to notify the secretary of state of filings which affect a corporate or company name.
