SB 5129 - DIGEST

 

     Declares that it is a misdemeanor if a person violates this act and, as a result thereof, a minor gains access to a firearm and possesses or exhibits it, without the supervision required by law:  (1) In a public place; or

     (2) in a reckless or criminally negligent manner.

     Declares that it is a class C felony if a person violates this act and, as a result thereof, a minor gains access to a firearm and uses it to inflict injury or death upon himself or herself, or any other person.
