SB 5204 - DIGEST

     Declares an intent to:  (1) Encourage the establishment of victim-offender mediation programs;

     (2) encourage the use of mediation programs, if appropriate, if victims and offenders voluntarily agree; and

     (3) eliminate any possible ambiguity regarding the power of sentencing courts to order offenders to comply with the terms of restitution agreements with victims.
