SB 5205 - DIGEST

     Provides that a district judge shall not act as judge in any action in which the judge believes he or she would be unable to act as an impartial judge.

     Allows a party to file with the judge a motion to recuse.

     Directs the supreme court to adopt rules of procedure for implementation consistent with this law.
