SB 5329 - DIGEST

     Requires the board of natural resources to determine the amount of funds necessary to achieve the purposes of the forest development account and provide by rule for the deduction of this amount by fee from the gross proceeds of all leases, sales, contracts, licenses, permits, easements, and rights of way issued by the department and affecting public lands.

     Requires the board to establish the percentage of the deduction fee once each year in order to maintain no more than a six-month operating balance in the account.

     Requires interest earned by the forest development account to be distributed back into the account.
