SB 5361 - DIGEST

(DIGEST AS ENACTED)

     Provides that, when established route operations and normal user requirements are not disrupted, Washington state ferries may be used for the transportation of hazardous materials under the chartering procedures and rates described in the act.

     Provides for a rate equal to the actual costs, plus fifty percent on all legs of the transport.

     Requires a written charter agreement.
