     Includes in the definition of a persistent offender someone who has been convicted of rape of a child in the first degree, child molestation in the first degree, homicide by abuse, and assault of a child in the first degree and who has a previous conviction for such crimes.

     Amends the definition of "offender" to include a juvenile who has come under the superior courts jurisdiction pursuant to RCW 12.04.030 (automatic decline).
