SB 5573 - DIGEST

     Allows the chief of the Washington state patrol to use county auditors and subagents, if they volunteer, to conduct vehicle identification number inspections on out-of-state vehicles brought into the state.

     Authorizes the state patrol to retain authority to inspect an out-of-state vehicle, if there is a reasonable belief that the vehicle is stolen.
