SB 5792 - DIGEST

     Declares that self-service displays of tobacco products are prohibited.  All in-store tobacco products must be sold from behind the counter.

     Provides that fixed outdoor advertising of tobacco products is prohibited within one thousand feet of the perimeter of any public or private primary, middle, or secondary school or governmentally owned or operated playground.

     Declares that no person shall sell or permit to be sold single cigarettes.

     Revises penalties for violations of the act.

     Repeals RCW 70.155.060 and 82.24.270.
