(DIGEST AS ENACTED)

     Revises RCW 43.43.830, 43.43.834, and 43.43.842 to include drug offenses in background checks.

     Provides that, for purposes of background checks, convictions for crimes relating to drugs may be used as a tool for investigation and may be used for any decision regarding the person's suitability for a position in which the person may have unsupervised access to children or vulnerable adults.
