SB 6151 - DIGEST

     Provides that, because library districts tend to include more than one county, the legislature intends to fund library districts from the state general fund through annual appropriations and to eliminate the nonvoter-approved property tax levy authority of library districts.

     Applies to taxes levied for collection in 2000 and thereafter.

     Repeals RCW 84.52.063.
