SB 6246 - DIGEST

     Declares an intent to ensure technically and environmentally sound projects for the restoration or enhancement of riparian areas while minimizing the permitting requirements for individual landowners and to establish state-wide technical standards for riparian area restoration and enhancement that will replace existing permit requirements.

     Makes an appropriation of one hundred fifty thousand dollars from the general fund to the conservation commission for the purposes of this act.
