SB 6401 - DIGEST

     Declares that the program shall be designed to provide funds, to the extent funds are appropriated, for eligible school districts to provide summer school programs to students who would be entering grades six, seven, or eight.

     Makes an appropriation of five hundred thousand dollars for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1998, from the general fund to the superintendent of public instruction for the purposes of this act.
