SB 6462 - DIGEST

     Provides for 1.4484 percent to be deposited in the following manner:  (1) An amount equal to 64 percent shall be deposited into the county criminal justice assistance account created in RCW 82.14.310;

     (2) an amount equal to 27 percent shall be deposited into the municipal criminal justice assistance account for distribution under RCW 82.14.320; and

     (3) an amount equal to 9 percent shall be transmitted to the county treasurer of any county with a metropolitan statistical area, as defined by the United States office of management and budget, with 20 percent or more of its average annual covered employment in agriculture, forestry, and fishing, but this amount must be spent by the county exclusively for criminal justice purposes.
