     On page 6, line 32, after Areport.@ insert the following:

ANEW SECTION. Sec. 206.  Notwithstanding the riparian strategies outlined in Appendix B of the forests and fish report, the riparian buffers adopted by the forest practices board shall not exceed fifty feet in total width measured from the edge of a Type S or F water on a horizontal distance basis.@

     Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

Effect: Limits riparian buffers to a maximum of 50 feet.
