    On page 6, line 12, after "(f)))" strike "Expedited" and insert "Rules that can be adopted or repealed using expedited"

EFFECT:  Under current law, certain rules, such as those affecting internal governmental operations, can be adopted without filing a statement of inquiry but agencies must still comply with other procedural requirements, such as holding a hearing.  The amendment retains this option for agencies.  Without the amendment, agencies could use the expedited rulemaking process for these kinds of rules, but that process does not require a hearing and other procedural requirements.
