     On page 2, line 21 after Agovernment.@ insert ANothing in this subsection is intended, or shall be construed to preclude an elected municipal officer from serving out his or her current full term of office for which the officer was elected.@

EFFECT: Adds language providing that nothing in this act is intended to preclude an elected municipal officer from serving out his or her current term of office.
