     On page 17, after line 32, insert the following:

ANEW SECTION. Sec. 19.  The department of labor and industries shall conduct an assessment of the current skills and training required to construct, assemble, maintain, or repair any hazardous liquid or gas pipeline within the state.  The department shall report its findings to the legislature by October 1, 2000.@

     Renumber the remaining sections consecutively, correct internal references, and correct the title.
