     On page 3, line 16, beginning with AThe@ strike all the matter through Alaw))@ on line 17, and insert A)) (7) The council shall cease to exist on July 1, ((1999)) 2004, unless otherwise extended by law.@

EFFECT: Rather than eliminating the July 1, 1999, termination date for the Washington Quality Awards Council, the termination date is moved forward to July 1, 2004.
