     On page 88, line 5, increase the general fund -- state appropriation (FY 2000) by $25,000

     On page 88, line 6, increase the general fund -- state appropriation (FY 2001) by $25,000

     On page 88, line 13, increase the total appropriation by $50,000

     On page 93, after line 25, insert the following:

     "(cc) $50,000 of the general fund -- state appropriation is provided for a study of the best way to develop and implement policies to prevent malicious harassment in the schools." 

EFFECT:  Provides $50,000 to OSPI for a study on the prevention of malicious harassment in schools.

FISCAL IMPACT:  Increases state general fund appropriation by $50,000.
