     On page 20, line 26, reduce the general fund--state appropriation for fiscal year 2000 by $100,000

     On page 20, line 27, reduce the general fund--state appropriation for fiscal year 2001 by $100,000

     On page 20, line 30, correct the total accordingly

     On page 21, line 25, strike A$1,000,000" and insert A$800,000"

     On page 21, line 27, strike AOne-half of the amount provided from the general fund--state@ and insert A$500,000 of the general fund--state funding provided under this subsection@

     On page 14, line 32, increase the general fund--state appropriation for fiscal year 2000 by $100,000

     On page 14, line 33, increase the general fund--state appropriation for fiscal year 2001 by $100,000

     On page 15, line 18, correct the total accordingly

     On page 20, after line 19, insert the following: A(29) $ 100,000 of the general fund fiscal year 2000 appropriation and $ 100,000 of the general fund fiscal year 2001 appropriation are provided solely for the early childhood education assistance program for the purpose of increasing program enrollment.@

EFFECT: Reduces funding for the Governor=s Commission on Early Learning by $200,000.  Increases funding for the Early Childhood Education Assistance Program by $200,000.

FISCAL IMPACT: None.
