     On page 146, line 13, after Alimitations:@ insert A(1)@

     On page 146, after line 15, insert the following:

A(2) Amounts provided in this section shall be expended only for natural disaster relief, unanticipated urgent funding needs, and other emergency relief.  Amounts provided in this section may not be expended for ongoing agency expenses.

     (3) The governor shall inform the legislative fiscal committees prior to each expenditure of amounts provided in this section.@

EFFECT: Adds conditions to expenditures from the Governor=s emergency fund and requires the Governor to inform the legislative fiscal committees prior to each expenditure from the Governor=s emergency fund.

FISCAL IMPACT: None.
