     On page 2, line 17 of the amendment, after Aproduct@ strike Acontains dioxin@ and insert Acreates a toxicological concern because it contains dioxin in excess of the standard allowed by the United States environmental protection agency.  Sampling protocols and analysis used by the department under this subsection must be consistent with those used by the United States environmental protection agency for this product.@

EFFECT: Requires the level of dioxin in 2,4-D to exceed the amount allowed by EPA before its use is prohibited by the Department of Ecology.
