    On page 4, after line 29 of the amendment, strike all material through "bodies.))" on line 31, and insert the following:

    "Sole authority to ((approve final plats, and to)) adopt or amend platting ordinances shall reside in the legislative bodies."

    On page 4, line 34 of the amendment, after "commission" insert "or the hearing examiner"

    On page 12, line 31 of the amendment, after "authority" insert "appealable to the legislative authority as specified in section 5 of this act"
