Background: Currently, the Legislature authorizes a permissive and variable waiver of a specific tuition and fee differential for veterans of Vietnam and the Persian Gulf.
Summary of Substitute Bill: A permissive and variable, space-available tuition waiver is created for veterans of the Korean conflict who served in the active duty United States military or naval forces from June 25, 1950 to July 27, 1953, and veterans of World War II who served in the active duty United States military or naval forces from December 7, 1941 to August 15, 1945.
