Repealing a provision that requires the department of ecology to produce litter bags, and requires people to keep a litter bag in their vehicle or watercraft.

    AN ACT Relating to litter bag requirements; repealing RCW 70.93.100; and declaring an emergency.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  RCW 70.93.100 and 1981 c 260 s 15 are each repealed.

NEW SECTION. Sec. 2.  This act is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, or safety, or support of the state government and its existing public institutions, and takes effect immediately.
