Exempting jail facilities from compliance with SEPA.

    AN ACT Relating to categorical exemptions under the state environmental policy act for certain activities; and adding a new section to chapter 43.21C RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 43.21C RCW to read as follows:

    Construction, alteration, repair, and remodeling of county and city jail facilities are exempted from compliance with this chapter.
