HB 1405 - DIGEST

     Directs the office of the superintendent of public instruction to enter into a contract with one or more organizations or individuals to provide support, guidance, training, and technical assistance to individuals and organizations for the establishment and development of nonprofit educational foundations established to provide financial support and services to assist public schools.

     Makes an appropriation of seventy-five thousand dollars for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2000, from the general fund to the office of the superintendent of public instruction for the purposes of this act.

     Makes an appropriation of seventy-five thousand dollars for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2001, from the general fund to the office of the superintendent of public instruction for the purposes of this act.
