     Authorizes the donation of surplus computers and computer-related equipment to school districts and educational service districts.

     Directs the office of superintendent of public instruction and the department of general administration to jointly, by September 1, 1999, develop guidelines and distribution standards for the purpose of implementing this act.  The guidelines and distribution standards shall give priority to school-age children with disabilities, including considerations for quality, school-district needs, and accountability.
