HB 1547-S.E - DIGEST

(DIGEST AS ENACTED)

     Provides that, upon the joint request of a metropolitan park district and a city with a population of more than one hundred fifty thousand, a county legislative authority in a county with a population of more than five hundred thousand and less than one million may submit an authorizing proposition to the county voters, fixing and imposing a sales and use tax in accordance with this act for the purposes designated.

     Provides that, for any county in which a proposition authorized by this act has been passed, there shall be created a zoo and aquarium advisory authority.
