HB 1772 - DIGEST

     Declares that the purpose of this act is to continue actions that have been taken in recent years at the national and state levels to promote competition in telecommunications and preserve and advance universal service.  It is also the purpose of this act to promote continued investment in telecommunications infrastructure within the state of Washington, and to reduce the cost and extent of regulatory oversight of telecommunications firms operating in the state of Washington.
