HB 1856 - DIGEST

     Provides that the deposits into the state general fund and common school construction fund shall be apportioned as follows:  (1) Eighty-three percent to the general fund and seventeen percent to the common school construction fund for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2000;

     (2) sixty-six percent to the general fund and thirty-four percent to the common school construction fund for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2001;

     (3) forty-nine percent to the general fund and fifty-one percent to the common school construction fund for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2002;

     (4) thirty-two percent to the general fund and sixty-eight percent to the common school construction fund for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2003;

     (5) fifteen percent to the general fund and eighty-five percent to the common school construction fund for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2004; and

     (6) zero percent to the general fund and one hundred percent to the common school construction fund for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2005, and thereafter.
