(DIGEST AS ENACTED)

     Recognizes that certain tuition policies may have an adverse impact on the unique role of community colleges.

     Declares an intent to eliminate impediments to the ability of community colleges to meet the diverse needs of students and business interests.

     Eliminates the two-credit minimum tuition and fee requirement.

     Exempts private career schools from paying into the tuition recovery fund beyond the original ten-year contribution cycle when schools are transferred to immediate family members.
