HB 2241 - DIGEST

     Declares that the commission may grant a total of eighty licenses allowing the license holder to operate a house-banked card room.

     Requires that, within thirty days of receipt of an application for a house-banked card room license or an application to sell a house-banked card room license, the commission is required to send a notice to either the city or county chief executive, or both if relevant, of the jurisdiction where the house-banked card room will operate.  The relevant city or county chief executive has ninety days from the date the notice was sent to submit comments to the commission concerning the initial granting of the license, or the resale of the license, to an establishment located in the city or county.
