HB 2780 - DIGEST

     Declares an intent of this act to have voters reaffirm the financing mechanism passed by the legislature and approved by the governor on October 17, 1995, that authorized the financing for the construction of a stadium located in King county and occupied by a professional major league baseball team.

     Provides that the secretary of state shall submit this act to the people for their adoption and ratification, or rejection, at the next regular general election to be held in this state, in accordance with Article II, section of the state Constitution and the laws adopted to facilitate its operation.
