HB 2930 - DIGEST

     Directs the insurance commissioner to establish rules authorizing medical savings accounts for citizens of Washington.  Medical savings accounts may be offered as either individual or group health plans.  Contributions to a medical savings account may be matched by an employer or made solely by the beneficiary.

     Directs the insurance commissioner to establish a catastrophic health plan for individuals contributing to medical savings accounts established under this act.
