     On page 2, line 1, after "department." insert "Information required by the director for the issuance of a vehicle use permit must be consistent with RCW 77.32.070."

     On page 2, after line 37, insert the following:

     "Sec 2. __RCW 77.32.070 and 1998 c 191 s 11 are each amended to read as follows:

     Applicants for a license, permit, tag, or stamp shall furnish the information required by the director.  The director may not ask for or collect the social security number of an applicant. The commission may adopt rules requiring licensees or permittees to keep records and make reports concerning the taking of fish, shellfish, and wildlife."

     Correct the title

EFFECT: Restricts the Department of Fish and Wildlife from requiring the applicants for a hunting, fishing, or trapping annual license to furnish their social security number.
