     On page 5, line 24 of the amendment, after "adjudication." insert "If the petition is filed by a federally recognized Indian tribe appealing a determination of the board as to whether a proposed change or transfer impairs existing water rights, the review of the appeal filed by the tribe shall be de novo."

EFFECT: If a federally recognized Indian tribe appeals a decision of the PCHB on a matter referred to it by the court and the appeal concerns whether a proposed change or transfer impairs existing water rights, the court's review of the appeal is de novo.
