     On page 1, line 12, after "to" strike all material through "state" on line 13 and insert "encourage these employees to live in the districts in which they work."

EFFECT: Changes the purpose of the act from minimizing disparities in purchasing power among districts to encouraging school district employees to live in the districts in which they work.
