     On page 21, after line 14, insert the following:

A(7)The department of transportation, with approval of the transportation commission, may expend an additional $10,000,000 on the Alaska Way viaduct and adjust the projects within the preservation program to accommodate these expenditures.@

EFFECT: Authorizes the department of transportation to spend up to $10,000,000 of the current appropriation to the preservation program on the Alaska Way viaduct.
