     On page 3, after line 31, insert the following"

     "(3) RCW 41.56.122 applies to employees covered by a collective bargaining agreement under this section, except that an employee who asserts a right of nonassociation under RCW 41.56.122 has the right to make the required payment to a nonreligious charity listed with the United Fund, as defined in RCW 41.04.035, that the employee designates."

EFFECT:  Allows a student employee in the bargaining unit who asserts a right of nonassociation to pay his or her agency shop fee to a nonreligious charity that the employee chooses from such charities listed with the United Fund.
