     On page 1, line 17, after "in a" insert "federally approved or"

     On page 2, line 3, after "(3)" insert the following:

     ""Federally approved apprenticeship training program" means an apprenticeship training program registered by the United States department of labor and evidenced by a certificate of registration as meeting the standards of the department for apprenticeship.

     (4)"

Renumber the subsections consecutively and correct internal references accordingly.

EFFECT:  Adds that contractors may use apprentices from federally approved apprenticeship programs, as well as state-approved programs, to meet the apprenticeship utilization requirements.
